On Sunday May 24th Beavers from all over our district arrived at Daviot campsite for a fun packed day of Beaver Activities. Various bases including Where's Wally (Geocaching) were arranged by our very own leaders, including our Scout Leader Scott Adams who gave up his day to dress up and join in the fun.
Leslie Beavers had a great day which included crate climbing, making pancakes, sumo wrestling, bouncy castle, and many many other bases.
Despite the cuts in pictures it was all just face paint, our group know how to have fun injury free!!

More pictures from the day can be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/128859975@N07/sets/72157652996753799.
Leslie leaders would especially like to thank all the parents who came along to help, Without you all we wouldn't have got round so many bases and I hope you had as much fun as your children did.
Also a big thanks to West High Street Garage in Inverurie for providing the bouncy castle which was a big hit for beavers and leaders alike!!!

Leslie Beavers tour of J G Ross Factory

Leslie Beavers got the opportunity thanks to Ayren Carr's mum to get a tour, demonstrations and sampling at the J G Ross factory in Inverurie. Much fun was had helping Cameron Ross make biscuits showing beavers how their products are all made by hand.
We then had to pretend we were a loaf of bread and follow all the different stages going through the factory. This is the beavers at the ingredients stage.
The final part of our trip was to sample, well none of them were going to refuse that now were they!!!
Many thanks to Cameron Ross and Lynne Carr for organising and for Beaver and Leader goodie bags at the end. We all had a great night, although for me it was my second enjoyable visit of the week!!
