Scouts Circus Night

This week at Scouts we were learning our circus skills.
Starting with big top parachute games, then on to acrobatics, face painting and circus skills.

Plate spinning, batons, streamers, juggling and diablos were all flying around the hut.

Group camp 2014

This years group camp was held at Templars Park near Aberdeen in August. The camp saw Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers all camping together for three days taking part in Commonwealth themed activities.

Backwoods cooking – India and Trinidad & Tobago style, New Zealand Haka & rugby, Canadian lumberjacks and Kenyan crafts were just some of the activities on offer on Saturday. The evening saw a campfire, a disco and wide games. Sunday was putting competing in our own Commonwealth games – with sports, a quiz and the assault course gaining points for each team.
